Shameless Self Promotion
I grew up in Houston, TX, and was fortunate enough to start tinkering with computers at a very early age with an Apple 2e. By 15 I was working in a custom media shop co-authoring a book on Macromedia Flash (way back in version 5). At 18, just in time for the boom, I was the lead developer for a venture-capitalist funded startup. After the bust I decided to explore outside of the computer realm and earned degrees in English Lit and Marketing at the University of Texas at Austin. While in Austin I helped to build an online asset management firm -- and before working for Imagination (and now Undercurrent), I was the project manager of new media projects at a Chicago based advertising agency.
